OTA: Easter Garden Party!
Who: High Priestess Kendrel, her Acolytes, and you! Yes, you! This is open to any character who has ever been in any teamnesia game, because I said so.
Where: The Garden
When: ~it's timey wimey do what you want~
What: A party!
[You are cordially invited to a garden party, courtesy of the High Priestess of the Lapine. Should you accept the invitation and arrive, you'll enter the garden through the base of a giant, ancient tree (though if you turn around to look where you came from once you've arrived, is the hole you came out of really big enough for you to have squeezed through...?), and you'll find yourself in a beautifully kept garden, fields of colorful plants stretching every which way. The flower of the day is larkspur, especially varieties that form the shape of a rabbit head - you'll see it everywhere.]
[To your right are tables, covered in a banquet of food. To your left is a field left grassy for dancing, and past it is a hedge maze. Ahead of you are carefully-arranged fields of flowers, with paths laid out for exploring and flower viewing. And above you, the three moons shine brightly and peacefully.]
[At the entrance, Kendrel is there to greet you.]
Welcome! Please, make yourselves at home. I hope you have a good time.
[[Various top-levels are provided as prompts, but feel free to make your own as well! And yes I'm pulling out
rabbitrabbitrabbit for the Acolytes.]]

RULES
There's a carefully-written wooden sign at the entrance that reads "Please do not spill blood in the garden."
That's about it, though.
OOC Rules
1. Typical rules apply. IC =/= OOC, be nice to each other, etc. This is supposed to be a nice get together, not to break down into petty fighting.
2. If characters start ICly fighting, let me know so that a bun can come break it up.
3. If a character would deliberately cut themselves and spill blood, let me know preferably before you do it, bad things will happen if someone does that. There's a reason this is an IC rule.
4. This post is open to characters from any and all teamnesia-style games. Including if there are any out there that I don't know about.
5. Have fun!
Talk to Kendrel
But she's also definitely up for conversation.]
The Banquet
[There is also plenty to drink. One table has water and fruit punch and other non-alcoholic beverages, and another has wine. So much wine. Also other alcohols, but it's mostly wine.]
[There's a distinct lack of meat, yes, but aside from that, there's plenty of variety in the offerings. And there are other picnic tables set up as well, so you have somewhere to sit as you eat.]
The Trellis - Talk to White
There's one more table, where a small trellis has been set up, and harvested flowers have been gathered. A sign next to it says:
Offer a wish of hope on a flower, and tie it to the trellis, and the Lady will provide.
So basically, make a wish on a flower and tie it to the trellis, and then you can probably ask the white winged rabbit sitting next to it for a small item in return. Including (but not limited to) meat.
Or you can just talk to her. That's an option too.]
Flower Garden
If you want to just take a walk around with a friend and stop to smell the roses (there actually aren't many roses, and what roses there are don't have thorns and come mostly in white and pink) or admire the daffodils, what better place, right? There's even a small grove of cherry trees in full bloom at one intersection, if you're into those.
You might even come, rarely, across flowers with magical (but harmless!) properties. Maybe there's a memory flower in the back corner, of a specific breed that only shows happy memories. Or a flower that, upon touching it, lets you fly for a short time. The possibilities are endless, as long as it's harmless.]
Easter Egg Hunt
You might find an egg!
A hollow wooden egg, painted with bright colors. There's a hinge, too, along a cut around the center, and if you open the egg, you'll find a small prize. Most of the prizes are chocolate in nature, but rarely you might come across one that contains a small, shiny crystal, or a rare preserved herb with special properties. You get to keep whatever you find, too! Isn't that nice?
They're in all manner of hiding spots, too, though never actually buried below ground or anything. Inside knots in trees, hidden beneath large leaves, there's one on the edge of a small pond just below the water...]
Talk to Brown
Maybe she'll give hints if you ask nicely.]
The Dance Floor
Clearly, this field is meant for dancing and the like.]
The Hedge Maze
Wumpus! Avoid the hazards, find the treasure, win fabulous prizes!
It also goes on to explain the rules below. Looks like this is the closest you're going to find to a game today. Do you want to try your hand?]
Talk to Black
Hi hi~! Do you want to play?
RULES/HOW TO PLAY
The hedge maze is a 7x7 grid of areas. You start in the center of the south side of the map, and each turn you can move to any adjacent square. (Not diagonally, and not off the map.) Each time you move gives you one point.
There are three kinds of hazards in this game.
1. Turn-Around Trees
If you enter the same area as a Turn-Around Tree, you will be immediately transported back to the square you were in previously, and you will gain two points. When you enter a square adjacent to a Turn-Around Tree, you will feel an odd wind.
There are two Turn-Around Trees in the hedge maze.
2. Wumpus Bloom
If you enter the same area as the Wumpus Bloom, it will transport you back to the entrance of the maze. It won't give you any extra points, but your points also won't be reset. When you enter a square adjacent to the Wumpus Bloom, you'll know by the smell.
There is one Wumpus Bloom in the hedge maze.
3. Transport Vines
The first time you step into an area with a Transport Vine, you will be told that one is there, and it will arm itself. If you step into that square again, it will transport you to a random safe place on the board (ie. not on or next to any hazards). It will not give you any extra points, but depending on where it brings you, it could help or hinder your quest. There is no tell on a square adjacent to a Transport Vine, but since it doesn't arm until the first time you set foot there, you'll know it's there by the time it's active.
There are two Transport Vines in the hedge maze.
Hazards are placed randomly for each player, and cannot be placed adjacent to the starting square or the treasure.
The treasure is also placed randomly for each player, but it cannot be placed fewer than four moves away. There is no tell for when you are adjacent to the treasure.
Players are given a compass that they can use at any time at the cost of gaining one point to tell them in what direction the treasure can be found (the first consultation is free). If the treasure is in a diagonal direction, then both directions will be listed if the number of spaces to move in the smaller direction is at least half of the spaces to move in the larger direction.
(For example, if the treasure is 3 squares north and 2 squares east, the compass will return north-east. But if the treasure is 3 squares north and 1 square east, the compass will return north.)
The nature of the prizes depends entirely on how many takers there are.
Questions? Something not clear? Hit me up.
(P.S. This is totally optional and just me offering an experiment.)
